Mathias Malzieu is a versatile French artist, best known as the lead singer of the rock band Dionysos, which he co-founded in 1993. Alongside his musical career, he has authored several successful novels, including "The Boy with the Cuckoo-Clock Heart," adapted into an animated film in 2014. In 2016, he published "Diary of a Vampire in Pyjamas," an autobiographical account of his battle with illness, which won the Prix Essai France Télévisions. In 2020, he directed the film "A Mermaid in Paris," based on his own novel. His work is characterized by a poetic and dreamlike universe, blending music, literature, and cinema.
