Cerrone is a French composer and producer, a pioneer of disco in France and Belgium. He has sold over 30 million albums worldwide, including eight million copies of Supernature. His track "Love in C Minor" reached number three on the charts and sold three million copies. In 1978, he won six awards at the Billboard Disco Forum, including Disco Artist of the Year. His music has been sampled by artists such as the Beastie Boys and Run-DMC.
