Agar Agar is a French electropop duo formed in 2015 by Clara Cappagli and Armand Bultheel. They are known for blending 1980s synthpop with techno, drawing influences from Roman Flügel, Fatima Yamaha, Ariel Pink, and Black Devil Disco Club. Their debut single, "Prettiest Virgin," was released in 2016, followed by the EP "Cardan" in 2016 and the album "The Dog and the Future" in 2018. In 2020, they released the EP "Nap." Their second album, "Player Non Player," was released in January 2023.
