Abd Al Malik is a French rapper, slam poet, and writer of Congolese origin. He is known for his unique style blending rap, slam, and literary influences. His debut solo album, "Le Face à face des cœurs," was released in 2004, followed by "Gibraltar" in 2006. In 2009, he published "La Guerre des Banlieues n'aura pas lieu," an essay on French suburbs. In 2014, he adapted his autobiography "Qu'Allah bénisse la France" into a film, which received positive critical acclaim.
